Mental health useful resources

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, an opportunity to talk about mental health and share useful resources. The theme for 2022 is 'loneliness', something we all experience at times. Here's my top tips and resources which I hope will help...

Nationwide resources

The national mental health charity Mind has an online supportive community called 'Side by Side'.

The national mental health charity Rethink Mental Illness hosts peer support groups across the UK.

The Samaritans operate 24/7, all year round. They listen and support anyone who needs to talk

The website 'Meetup' lets you search for activities in your area and meet up with people locally.

Age UK has a Befriending Service, which offers telephone and face to face friendship to people experiencing loneliness in later life.

Fancy getting a little kindness through your letterbox? Take a look at Kindness By Post.

For more information about Borderline Personality Disorder, take a look at the above mental health charity websites or visit the NHS website.
